Pet Portrait Photo Guidelines

Your pet photo plays a big part in how clear, detailed, and personal your finished artwork will feel. Choose a photo that shows your pet's face, coloring, and personality as clearly as possible.

If your photo is not perfect, do not worry. Our team checks every order and will email you if we need a clearer option before the artwork process continues.

  • Close-up photos usually work best.
  • Take the photo at your pet's eye level whenever possible.
  • Use natural daylight or a bright room, and avoid flash when you can.
  • Choose a sharp photo where your pet is still, with no heavy blur.
  • Make sure the full face, neck, ears, and unique markings are visible and not cut off.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a custom order take?

Custom orders are completed and delivered in about 2-4 weeks. Timing can vary slightly based on the detail of your artwork, production queue, and shipping destination.

Can I order more than one pet in one portrait?

Yes. If you would like multiple pets in one artwork, please choose our 2 Pets, 3 Pets, or 4 Pets portrait option.

Can I see the artwork before printing?

Yes. We will send you a custom proof about 1-2 days after you place your order. You can request edits, and we will only print your portrait after you are happy with the artwork.

Is my pet photo good enough to use?

Clear, front-facing photos work best. Natural light, eye-level angles, and an uncropped face help us create a cleaner final portrait. If there is any issue with your photo, we will contact you by email before production.

Do you only make cat and dog portraits?

No. We can work with many pets, including cats, dogs, rabbits, horses, and other animals, as long as the photo is clear.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes. We ship worldwide and always use fully tracked shipping.

What if I don't like my pet portrait?

If the first proof is not quite right, you can request changes before printing. We will revise the artwork based on your feedback and only move forward once you approve it.
